THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state registered 3026 cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday, health minister KK Shailaja informed. Among the new cases, 2723 persons developed the disease through contact including 237 cases without an identified source of infection. 49 came from abroad while 163 returned from other states. 89 health workers also tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.

1862 coronavirus patients tested negative for the virus on Tuesday.

The state reported 13 deaths on Tuesday. With this, the death toll has reached 372.

37,264 samples were tested in the last 24 hours. Across the state, 1,98,850 people are under observation, which includes 17,887 people in various hospitals.
