THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala recorded 3402 cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, health minister KK Shailaja informed. Among the new cases, 3120 persons developed the disease through contact including 235 cases without an identified source of infection. 46 came from abroad while 133 returned from other states. 88 health workers also tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
2058 coronavirus patients tested negative for the virus on Tuesday.

The state reported 12 deaths on Wednesday. With this, the death toll has reached 384.
45,949 samples were tested in the last 24 hours. Across the state, 2,02,801 people are under observation, which includes 18,880 people in various hospitals.
There are 570 hot spots in the state which includes the addition of 23 regions and the removal of 21.
