THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: With just months left for assembly polls, UDF and LDF have already started poll battles in social media. The cyber teams of both fronts have started election campaign in social media by framing attractive poll slogans. The supporters have started adopting social media cards issued by cyber teams of both fronts as their profile picture.

‘Govt will change, good times will come’, this is the poll slogan of UDF, whereas LDF poll slogan is ‘LDF will continue and Kerala will grow.’ In the previous polls, UDF slogan was ‘This state should grow, the regime should continue,’ While LDF’s was ‘LDF will come, everything will be alright.’ Whereas the poll slogan of BJP hasn’t come out yet.

On Friday, UDF kickstarted its campaign on social media. In a card with the hashtag ‘UDF will come back,’ yellow and black colours are used. Apart from Facebook pages and groups, the card is also being circulated in Telegram and WhatsApp. Certain KPCC leaders including Padmaja Venugopal has shared the flashcards on their Facebook page. After some time as a response, LDF also started a similar campaign with their own slogan. CPM’s youth leaders have posted LDF’s card in their social media handles.
