KOLLAM: A different kind of protest was staged by the Youth Congress activists today. They blocked Kovoor Kunjumon MLA on the way and staged protests by removing their clothes. They also waved black flags.

The UDF was provoked by the MLA's remark in the assembly that khaki trousers can be seen if youth congress activists’ mundu are lifted up. The protests were witnessed near Sasthamcotta. They jumped in front of the MLA's car, stopped him on the way and then removed their clothes.

Kovoor Kunjumon is Kunnathur MLA. The Sasthamcotta police have registered a case.
