KOZHIKODE: The central investigation agency is examining the locker dealings of Minister E P Jayarajan’s wife Indira who reached the Kerala Bank Kannur branch after violating COVID-19 guidelines. She came to the bank after giving her samples for COVID tests.

The central agency had started an investigation on the pictures of minister’s son with Swapna Suresh, accused in the gold smuggling case. She reached the bank and opened the locker soon after this. Indira had retired as a senior manager from the same branch.

She was shifted to the hospital soon after returning from the bank following confirmation of the virus. Three bank employees had to go into quarantine. Youth Congress president Shafi Parambil MLA had sought a probe in the incident.
