THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Minister K T Jaleel who is in the midst of controversies, is likely to meet Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Monday. He reached the capital city last night after the enforcement directorate grilled him in the gold smuggling case linked to the UAE Consulate. Youth organisations have announced a secretariat march seeking his resignation.

Jaleel returning to the capital city after a two day break, faced stiff protests on the way. Youth Congress and Yuva Morcha waved black flags in many places. Police had to use force to stop them.

BJP activists reached his house and waves black flags at him earlier. Later, during the journey, the minister was shown black flags at Changaramkulam, Kavumpuram and Perumpilavu. In Paliyekkara, Youth Congress and Yuva Morcha activists jumped in front of the minister's convoy and tried to stop him.

The minister was travelling under heavy security in view of the protests. During the journey, the minister visited an agricultural farm in Thavanur and responded that he had mentioned everything in his Facebook post. He did not give an answer to the questions.
