KASARGOD: An investigating team led by Kannur crime branch SP K K Moideen will reach Kasargod today in connection with the probe against Muslim League MLA M C Kamarudin in the jewellery cheating case.
The crime branch will investigate 39 cheating cases registered so far against the MLA and jewellery shop MD Pookoya. The investigating team will visit the Chandera station, where the highest number of cases have been registered, and collect information. Meantime, the CPM will organise dharna in various centres of the district seeking his resignation.
