PALAKKAD: The Kerala Thunderbolt team returned after being stranded in the Attappady forest due to the rising water level in the river. They reached Agali by another route in the forest. The six-member thunderbolt team got stranded whey they went for patrolling in the Attappady forest area.
The team who were inspecting the forest area near Murugala Ooru were not able to cross the river following the rise in the water level in Bavani River. When they went to Murugala area in the morning, the water level in the river was not high. But later the water level rose in the heavy rains.
With this, the thunderbolt team had to remain in the forest as they were not able to cross the river. Although the news of them stranded in the forest caused concern, Palakkad SP had informed that they are safe and are communicating with them.
