THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The district reported 892 cases of COVID-19 on Sunday. Of this, 859 cases are through contact which includes 29 health workers.

Also, 478 coronavirus patients tested negative for the virus in the past 24 hours. Two COVID deaths were recorded here on Sunday taking the toll in the district to 171.

There are 7519 active cases in the district. So far, 19,176 patients recovered from the disease.
