KOZHIKODE: Randamoozham will be soon made a film, said M T Vasudevan Nair. Many directors have approached me with scripts and am really sad on the film getting delayed, said MT and asserted that he is happy with the court verdict. The Supreme Court approved the terms of settlement out of the court related to the dispute between M T Vasudevan Nair and director V A Shrikumar in connection with making of the film Randamoozham.
‘My demand was to get the script back. The case will be settled once the script is obtained and return the advance given. As I cannot direct, should find people who can handle it. Though I have the scripts written in English and Malayalam, it has not been decided in which language the film should be made,’ he said.
The case was settled by the two out of the court last week. The script will be returned to MT. He will have the full right of the script. MT will return the advance of 1.25 crore back to Shrikumar. He should not make a film based on the theme of Randamoozham, but can make a film on Mahabharata. Bheema should not be made the central character-these were the main conditions.
MT approached the court after shooting of the film with Mohanlal did not start even after the tenure of the contract. This case reached the high court and then the Supreme Court.
