KOTTIYAM: The action council said there are attempts to save the popular serial actress in the case related to the suicide of Ramsi after the groom Harris (24) backed out of the alliance. The action council ‘Justice for Ramsi’ sought immediate arrest of the actress after imposing charges including abetment to suicide. The council has extended support to her family to pursue the case.

It is learnt that the actress has filed an anticipatory bail plea. She is the sister-in-law of Harris (brother’s wife). Harris and Ramsi were in a relationship for eight years. The two got engaged in July 2019. He avoided her when a better alliance came for him. She was found hanging in her rented house at Kottiyam on September 3.

Ramsi and the actress were very close. She used to take Ramsi with her to look after the kid while going for the shooting. Pictures and videos of the two were shared in the social media. The messages of the two would be crucial in the case. The investigating team is likely to question the actress and Harris’ mother again.
