THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: MLA VT Balram mocks government as the CGM court in Thiruvananthapuram rejected government’s demand to withdraw the Assembly ruckus case. Even though CPM changes its position like a chameleon, the legal system in this country has proved that it hasn’t degraded to a condition like CPM.
The CGM court has issued the verdict in the case in which ‘big shots’ in the ministry like KT Jaleel and EP Jayarajan are accused.
The ruckus occurred in 2015 when KM Mani was presenting the budget. LDF MLAs tried to obstruct the budget presentation of then finance minister K M Mani, on whom they alleged that he accepted a bribe of Rs 1 crore from bar owners to reopen their closed bars.
His Facebook post is as follows:
CPM and LDF can take a stand that KM Mani’s bar bribery case is irrelevant now. It shows their stubbornness and double standards. But the people of Kerala will never forget the evil deeds done by them in the assembly in the name of this. No body can easily forget the obscene acts done by CPM in the assembly on that day.
It was the most obscene attack made by CPM in the histroy of Kerala’s legislative assembly. They made grave loss upon the public property of the state. Even though CPM changes its position like a chameleon, the legal system in this country has proved that it hasn’t degraded to a condition like CPM. Therefore greetings to them.
