KOCHI: A youth was beaten to death by a gang at Kuzhappilly beach in Ernakulam. The deceased has been identified as Cherayi native Pranav (23). Police have arrested a youth named Ambadi (19) in connection with the incident. It is learnt that Ambadi and his friends had attacked Pranav's house a few days ago. Police have intensified the search for Ambadi's friends.

Pranav's body was found by fishermen on Tuesday morning. Injuries were seen on his head and hands. Branches of a tree and some broken pieces of a tube light were found near his body.
