THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Opposition leader Ramesh Chenithala has said that he has resigned from the post of special invitee in the task force of life mission. “I have asked the copy of Life Mission’s MoU to the government about one month ago, but I have not received any response till now,” he said.

“Chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan is not ready to give any explanation on the life mission scam. Preliminary probe of vigilance is unacceptable. As all the accused in life mission scam are abroad, vigilance cannot probe the case. It should be left to CBI,” he said.

Government’s justification on the e-mobility project is unacceptable and the government has decided to exclude the consultancy company. Govt’s move to exclude Price Water Coopers shows that my allegations were right, the opposition leader said.

However, he denied the allegation that Covid-19 cases in the state is increasing due to the protest programmes of opposition. Chief minister is trying to blame the opposition in whatever way possible. We are conducting the protests and demonstrations under the covid-19 protocol regulations.
