THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has again locked horns with media during his press conference on Wednesday. The chief minister lost his cool while a media person asked whether the government had ordered a Vigilance inquiry into Life Mission corruption out of fear for the NIA.

How far will the Vigilance inquiry be effective since the chief minister and the local administration minister are among the persons facing Life Mission corruption allegation? – This was the question that provoked the chief minister..

The chief minister retorted: You have some other intention… that will not work out and you can keep it with you (sic)…

The media person went on to clarify that his question was based on the allegation made by the Opposition. To this, the chief minister replied:
“If somebody has an evil tongue, he should not try to speak any nonsense. What is the basis of that allegation? If something is said out of speculations, will it be an allegation?”
