IDUKKI: Idukki MLA Roshy Augustine has tested positive for COVID-19. Soon after the results returned positive, all those who came in direct contact with the MLA were asked to maintain alert and contact hospitals. Meanwhile, Vazhathope panchayat president has also tested positive for COVID-19.

According to sources, both the MLA and the panchayat president have contracted the disease from a member of the panchayat who had earlier tested positive for the virus.
