THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: “Our Kerala Congress will become more powerful than before in UDF,” said its party chief P J Joseph. We are moving forward with the mission of all-round development of Kerala. We are responding to all people-centric issues. Kerala Congress is the first party to respond to farm bills and we conducted protest programmes in all the 14 districts of Kerala. We have devised innovative solutions to pressing issues like unemployment. “We will be able to attract more activists and leaders to our party fold,” P J Joseph told Kerala Kaumudi Flash.

Let them come without conditions

More leaders are likely to join our party fold. I don’t think that those with Jose K Mani will stay with him for long. The MLA’s who are standing with Jose K Mani are losing their public support. If they are ready to join our party without any conditions, they are most welcome.

Jose will become zero

We will only field those who can win in the upcoming local body polls. This is not the time to conduct discussions on seat sharing for assembly polls. Jose faction is not going to win in any seat likely to be given by LDF. They are targeting our Kaduthuruthy seat but Mons Joseph will win from there with a majority of at least 30,000. Chances are very less for Jose to get Pala seat as it is presently the sitting seat of NCP.

No change in past and present

UDF believes that bar bribery case is a made up one. It was LDF which prevented Mani in assembly citing that case. At that time, LDF didn’t even allowed to present the budget. Everybody has seen what happened on that day. Anyway, even today UDF’s stand on the issue remains the same
