THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The police have registered a non-bailable case against dubbing artist Bhagyalakshmi, big boss contestant Diya Sana and activist Sreelekshmi Arackal for manhandling Vijay P Nair who posted a video for allegedly making derogatory and sleazy remarks against women in the social media. The case was registered on the complaint of Nair.
The case is for their unsavoury remarks and for threatening him. They will also be charged with theft. The incident happened Saturday evening at 6 pm. The women reached the room of Nair staying at a lodge at Gandhari Ammankovil Road in Thampanoor, poured oil on him and forced him to apologise for his remarks.
Diya, who rose to fame through Bigg Boss, shot the incident on her mobile phone and posted it live on Facebook. Nair claimed to have an honorary doctorate in psychology. Vijay used to make sexually explicit comments against feminists frequently on his YouTube channel. The women made him remove the video from the YouTube. They also seized his laptop and mobile phone and registered a case against him at the Thampanoor police station.
