THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The doctorate of Vijay P Nair, who insulted women through a video on YouTube, has been found to be fake. The Indian Association of Clinical Psychologists has initiated legal action against him for scams using the title of a psychologist.

It has been assumed that he claimed to be a clinical psychologist in order to gain trust in social media. The university that said to have given Ph.D. to Vijay P Nair does not have any accreditation. Nair claimed that he has a Ph.D. from 'Global Human Peace University' in Chennai.

However, there is no such university in Chennai or nearby places. On the website of this university, no details of accreditation from UGC and Union Education Department are provided.
