THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The two-and-a half-year-old-child abducted from Bengaluru by a native of Kattakada has been handed over back to its mother. The mother reached Kaliyakkavila and received the baby. The Karnataka police team accompanied him. The police will question Joseph John, a native of Kattakada, who abducted the child. The police will be investigating about the seven-year-old boy who was with Joseph John. He told police that the boy is his son.
Joseph was nabbed when he was proceeding to Thiruvananthapuram from Bengaluru with the child. He was nabbed when reached Kaliyakkavila bus stand. The police while patrolling in the night saw him in a suspicious situation. He confessed to have abducted her when police questioned him after the girl was found crying continuously.
The girl was abducted two weeks back. Police said Esther, a native of Andhra Pradesh, was also there to abduct the child. The family had lodged a missing complaint at the police station. The woman had come in a live Facebook video holding the picture of her child.
