KOCHI: In the midst of controversy created by the high remuneration of Tovino and Joju George, complaints have also risen against actor Baiju Santhosh for increasing his remuneration. Producer of film Maradu 365, starring the actor has approached the producers association with a complaint against the actor.

The producer alleges that the actor has sought Rs 20 lakh from him as his remuneration and he said he is not ready to reduce a penny but in the pre-decided agreement he has agreed to work on the project for Rs 8 lakh. In the complaint given before the association the producer has submitted a copy of the agreement. The producer has also informed the association that Baiju won’t take part in the dubbing process without receiving the remaining amount.

Actors and other technicians have agreed to reduce their remuneration with the producers association. When Mohanlal reduced his salary by half, certain producers have alleged that certain young actors are following the super star’s footsteps.
