THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala received India Today's award for the best state combating COVID-19. The 'India Today Healthgiri' award was announced and given by Union health minister Dr Harsh Vardhan. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan shared the news on the award through a post on his Facebook page. The award was given considering the accuracy in granting and spending funds, the vigilance in bringing down the fatality rate, good healthcare, and the work of the state government.
