BENGALURU: Enforcement will quiz CPM leader Kodiyeri Balakrishnan’s son Bineesh Kodiyeri in Bengaluru drug case. He will be questioned by the Bengaluru Enforcement. Enforcement officials have confirmed that they have decided to question Bineesh Kodiyeri. It is learnt that a notice has been sent to Bineesh asking him to appear for questioning.

Two central agencies and two units of the Karnataka Police are currently investigating the Bengaluru drug case. Though media contacted Bineesh on the phone to find out whether he had received the enforcement notice, he declined to comment. Bineesh, who has been active on social media for the past two weeks, has been staying away from it from some time.

Anoop Mohammad had earlier been questioned in connection with the case. Bineesh is being questioned on the basis of the information obtained from him. It is said that in 2015, Bineesh helped Anoop Mohammad to start a hotel in Kammanahalli in Karnataka. Enforcement had filed a case against Bineesh last week under Prevention of Money Laundering Act.
