THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state confirmed 7834 cases on Saturday, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said. Among the new cases, 6850 persons developed the disease through contact including 648 cases without an identified source of infection. As many as 49 had come from abroad and 187 from other states. 95 health workers tested positive for the virus today.
Meanwhile, 4476 coronavirus patients tested negative for the virus in the last 24 hours.
