THRISSUR: Kerala Lalitha Kala Academy chairperson KPAC Lalitha’s and dancer RLV Ramakrishnan’s phone dialogues in Mohiniyattam issue, have been revealed. With this, KPAC Lalitha’s arguments have turned to be a lie. Lalitha is heard saying that she had spoken to the academy secretary about Ramakrishnan and asked him to submit the application.

Lalitha had yesterday said that she had not spoken to Ramakrishnan regarding submission of an application for attending the academy’s online cultural festival and the news circulated that she had spoken to the secretary for Ramakrishnan is with a bad intention.

Ramakrishnan said that he completed MA in Mohiniyattam and has a PhD in it. He said that his application was rejected and he alleged discrimination. The academy is of the stand that they have not started accepting applications. The chairperson had asked him to submit applications.

Meantime, doctors attending on Ramakrishnan, who attempted suicide yesterday, said that he is recuperating.

Many including director Vinayan came forward criticising the academy for their act. Vinayan said that it was the stubbornness and ego of the Sangeetha Nataka Academy that led to Ramakrishnan's suicide attempt.
