KOCHI: The trial court asked the National Investigation Agency (NIA) to immediately produce the relevant evidences for the offenses mentioned in the FIR in the gold smuggling case. Or else the court will have to grant bail to the accused, the court clarified. The court made the remark while considering the bail applications of some of the accused in the case.

Evidence related to the offenses mentioned in the FIR should be produced immediately. The court will grant bail to the accused if this is not produced. The court had earlier made references related to the evidence. The court made the remark on it at the stage of granting bail after the arrest.

The court asked the NIA to produce the case diary in the case. The court directed to provide a separate list those who made profits in gold smuggling and their affiliations.
