THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: With the state reporting a surge in the number of COVID-19 cases over the past month, the Kerala government has decided to intensify its measures to combat the spread. Speaking to the media, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Tuesday said that COVID-protocols will be intensified at all public places. He also reminded the public to continue with the 'Break the chain' challenge as the lack of alertness might result in the spread of the virus.
"If we look at the numbers, we can see that the alertness shown by Kerala and its measures did not go in vain. We need to remain alert as we move forward," he said. He also added that measures will be taken in order to identify and isolate those experiencing COVID symptoms in each district.
