NEELESWARAM: Crucial evidence has been obtained against a man for sexually abusing his 16-year-old daughter. The DNA test on the foetal remains buried at the back of their house after abortion proved that the girl’s father sexually abused her.
The DNA of the foetal remains and that of her father were examined. He had confessed to the crime when he was taken into custody and questioned in the beginning of the probe.
In the statement given to the then Neeleswaram circle inspector P R Manoj, the man had revealed that the foetus was buried at the back of the house. He is the first accused in the case. There are a total of ten accused including the doctors who aborted her, in the case. The doctors had obtained bail from the high court earlier.
