KOTTIYAM: Anticipatory bail plea of actress and relatives, in the suicide case of a woman who killed herself as her fiance withdrew from marriage, will be heard in the court’s session to be convened for issuing the final verdict.

Actress Lakshmi Pramod and her mother-in-law Aarifa Beevi have approached the district sessions court for anticipatory bail. Meanwhile, the prosecutor has asked the court not to give them bail and prosecution has also presented evidence against the accused. Earlier, the court has said that the accused should not be arrested before 6th of October.

The woman’s fiance Haris was arrested by the police. Both of them were in a relationship for a long time and they were also engaged recently. The complaint says that when he got a better alliance, he dumped Ramsi and she committed suicide following this. Lakshmi is the wife of chief accused Haris’s brother and she was very close to Ramsi. She had often gone to shooting sets with Lekshmi.
