KOLLAM: Police manhandles old man during vehicle checking in Ayoor. Ramanandan from Manjappara was slapped by Najeem, sub-inspector on probation.

Police say that Ramanandan and the bike rider who accompanied him didn’t have the supporting documents to prove license and the vehicle ownership. The police team took the bike rider into custody and Ramanandan questioned this act of police which ended in police personnel manhandling him.

Meanwhile, the police personnel also say that the old man has also tried to attack the sub-inspector. Ramanandan, who is a heart patient, is now admitted in a hospital. The bike rider who accompanied him is now under police custody.
