THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A police official who tried to commit suicide due to workload died while undergoing treatment at the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital. He was found hanging in the station on September 1st.

He has been identified as Radhakrishnan (53), grade SI of Vilappilsala Station. Reports said that he had complained of workload.

He had alleged that the SHO had been harassing him mentally. He took charge at the Vilappilsala Station four months back.
