KOCHI: Police on Friday arrested 'Kara' Ratheesh, who is the first accused in the destruction of sets of Malayalam film 'Minnal Murali'. Ratheesh, an accused in several cases including murder, was arrested under the Kerala Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act (KAAPA). He is also the president of Rashtriya Bajrang Dal's Ernakulam division.

Ratheesh is an accused in several cases such as murder, attempted murder, assault, possession of firearms and explosives and inciting religious sentiments. He is the first accused in the murder of a man named Sanal in Kalady.
