NEW DELHI: Left MPs postpone voting the sexual assault victim’s family in Hathras. They took the decision to postpone visiting the family after the victim’s relatives informed the group about their inconvenience to talk with the MPs. The MPs in the group includes Elamaram Kareem, Bikash Ranjan Bhattacharya, M.V. Shreyams Kumar and certain other MPs from CPI, CPM and LJD.

The leaders have also decided to talk with collector and district police chief on the security issues of Girl’s immediate family members and other relatives. The group has also informed media that they will hand over a fact-checking report to the President, Supreme Court Chief Justice and to Prime Minister.

Meanwhile, police have also started a probe on the lead that the girl’s death is an honour killing case. The accused has alleged that the girl died due to repeated beating of the girl’s brother. A special team is probing the case in this angle also. The girl’s brother will be summoned again for questioning.
