THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state capital of Thiruvananthapuram recorded 797 COVID-19 cases on Sunday. Of these cases, 633 cases are through contact. There 11,720 active cases in the district.

However, 1200 coronavirus patients tested negative for the virus today.

Two deaths were reported here in the district in the last 24 hours-Palkulangara native Meenakumari and Poojappura native Peeru Mohammad. The total death toll in the district is now 308.
