KOLLAM: The court granted anticipatory bail to serial actress Lakshmi Pramod and her husband Azaruddin in the suicide of Ramsi at Kottiyam in Kollam. The bail was granted by the Kollam Principal Sessions Court.

Ramsi committed suicide on September 3 after her fiancé Harris Muhammed withdrew from the marriage. She was found hanging at her rented house in Kottiyam. Following her suicide, Harris was arrested. Lakshmi Pramod, the serial actress, is Harris’ brother’s wife. Ramsi’s parents had alleged that his parents and others have a role in the incident. After their engagement, he used to take her out. He also received money and jewellery from her parents for starting a business. Later they kept postponing the marriage citing various reasons.

Meanwhile, her audio message revealing that Muhammad made her pregnant and forced her to abort the pregnancy was leaked out. His parents were accused of bringing Ramsi to Ernakulam to terminate the pregnancy.
