NEW DELHI: The students who could not write the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) held on September 12 would be given a chance again. The Supreme Court gave the permission for the students who could not write the exam due to COVID-19 or because they were staying in containment zones.

They can re-write the test on October 14. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta appeared in the court for the centre. The court had to approve centre’s directive. Following court’s decision, the results will be declared on October 16.
