THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Former Principal Secretary M Sivasankar has sought legal advice from a lawyer in Kochi. This has happened soon after the High Court ordered a two-month stay on the CBI probe into the Life Mission case.
Sivasankar on Tuesday sought legal advice from High Court lawyer M Rajeev. Shivshankar has been advised not to move the high court presently and to wait for the CBI’s further procedures. Rajeev was in Kochi to handover Sivasankar's passport and other travel documents.
The CBI had argued in court that Sivasankar had violated the Life Mission agreement. Legal advice was that Sivasankar need to make any further move only in accordance with the CBI probe. Stay is only against the Life Mission CEO and there is no stay on the investigation against Unitac. Therefore, there is still a possibility for Sivasankar being questioned again.
