KOTTAYAM: The Kerala Congress Jose faction ousted from the UDF have decided to join the LDF. A decision on it was taken at the parliamentary party meet convened at Jose K Mani’s house in Pala Wednesday morning. The official announcement will be made shortly. The state leaders started reaching the state committee office in Kottayam for the announcement. The old board at the state committee office has been replaced with a new one.

The Jose faction has reached an agreement with the LDF that 12 seats will be given for the assembly polls. Five seats will be given to contest in Kottayam. Jose K Mani told the parliamentary party meeting that a compromise should not be there on the Pala seat claimed by Mani C Kappan and it should not be disputed now. Thomaz Chazhikadan MP, MLAs Roshy Augustine and Dr N Jayaraj attended the meeting. Meantime, Kappan who claimed for the Pala seat will meet the media at 12 noon today.
