THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan welcomed the decision of the Kerala Congress (M) to work alongside the ruling LDF after severing its decades old ties with the UDF. The Kerala Congress after breaking their 38-year-long ties with the UDF politics, said the Left Front is right. The rest of the things will be decided after convening a meet with the LDF, the chief minister said.

LDF convener Vijayaraghavan also welcomed the decision taken by Jose K Mani. He welcomed their stand to align with the LDF. This will be discussed with the allied parties. A decision will be taken after a meet is convened by the LDF. Jose hinted political issues at the press meet. He spoke about government’s good work and the current politics. The present discussion is not about the Pala seat.

Jose expressed hope that the LDF leadership will take a decision on his party's entry into the ruling front.
