KUNTHAMANGALAM: A man who used to sexually abuse a cow finally landed in police net after he was caught in CCTV camera. The incident happened at Kunnamangakam in Kozhikode.

The arrested person is Ernakulam native Muraleedharan staying at Valiyavayal Mullerikunnumel near Kozhikode NIT. He was nabbed by Kuthamangalam police.

The victim is the cow owned by Chathamangalam 12th mile resident. The modus operandi was that once everyone goes to sleep, the accused will slowly reach the stable, untie the cow from the shed and take it outside. He will then indulge in unnatural sex with the cow, leave the animal there and flee the spot.

The cow owner said that after he found his cow missing several times, he lodged a complaint with Kunthamangalam Police.
He later installed a CCTV camera near the cattle shed and that was how he got caught in the CCTV. The police finally arrested him with the help of CCTV visuals. In the examination conducted by veterinary doctor, it was found that the cow was subjected to unnatural sex.
