THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state capital has been seeing a decrease in COVID transmission lately, CM Pinarayi Vijayan said. On Thursday, 679 persons tested positive for the viral disease. Of this, 350 cases are through contact which includes 15 health workers. Also, 775 coronavirus patients tested negative in the last 24 hours.

However, the spread of COVID-19 is getting severe in Kozhikode. Over 1000 persons tested positive for the virus on Thursday-1264. Of these, 1195 cases are through contact which includes eight health workers. In the last 24 hours, 685 coronavirus patients tested negative for the disease.
