KULATHOOR: A two year old child was found dead by the shore at Valyaveli beach in Poundkadav ward. Ikkalia, son of Aneesh ad Sulu, has been identified as the deceased. The child was playing with the neighboring kids and went missing since 11 am on Thursday. The family of the child informed Thumba police after this. The police later found the child 300 metres further, near Pozhikkkara. Though he was taken to the medical college hospital, his life couldn't be saved.

The funeral will be held at the church on Friday after postmortem. The child went out of the gate, but at first,his mother was able to bring him but he managed to go out again. There is nothing suspicious in the death and no ornaments were missing, the police said.
