THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Recent reports claim that M Sivasankar, former Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, was rushed to the private hospital in a Customs vehicle. It is learnt that Sivasankar complained of uneasiness and was rushed to the hospital shortly after the Customs team reached his house. Reports also claim that the suspended IAS officer might be in the custody of the Customs.
It is said that the investigating officers are planning to shift him to another hospital and they are in talks with the hospital authorities regarding this. A team led by Customs Asst. Commissioner Rama Murthy is in the hospital. He is currently admitted to the Cardiac ICU of PRS hospital. Hospital authorities informed that minor ECG variations were found and Sivasankar will be made to undergo angiogram and MRI scan soon.
