THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister's former principal secretary M Sivasankar has been discharged from the Medical College Hospital. The medical board had ruled that Sivasankar's back pain was not serious and there is no need for him to remain in the hospital.
No other emergency treatments are required. The medical board also decided that painkillers would be sufficient for him. Sivasankar said that he has severe back pain. However, doctors said that it is a disc-related problem and not a serious one.
