Actor Suraj Venjaramoodu has gone into self-quarantine after actor Prithiviraj and director Dijo Jose tested positive for COVID-19. The actor himself informed this via a Facebook post. Suraj requested those who came in contact with him and the crew of Jana Gana Mana to go into mandatory quarantine and also asked to get it tested if any symptoms are seen. Suraj had gone into quarantine in May after he came in contact with a circle inspector who arrested an accused testing positive for COVID-19.

Actor Prithviraj was confirmed of the virus today. He contracted the disease during the shoot of Jana Gana Mana. Dijo Jose Antony, the director of the film has also tested positive. The shooting of the film has been temporarily suspended after the two contracted the disease. Suraj has a main role in the film along with Prithviraj.
