THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala police on Tuesday issued a warning to people against a suspicious text message. The message claims that the lucky phone owner has received a direct deposit of Rs 3500 and all they have to do to confirm is to click the link in the text message. As per the preliminary investigation, a group of Rajasthan-based fraudsters are behind the scam. Claiming that the SMS was fraudulent, police asked people not to click on the link. Several people have received the text message in the last few days. Police also advised not to scan QR codes from unknown centres.
