THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala confirmed 8369 COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, health minister KK Shailaja informed. Among the new cases, 7262 persons developed the disease through contact including 883 cases without an identified source of infection. 160 persons came from outside the state. 64 health workers tested positive for the virus today.
6839 coronavirus patients tested negative for the virus in the last 24 hours. As of now, there are 93,425 active cases in the state.
The state recorded 26 COVID deaths on Monday with the toll rising to 1232.
