KOLLAM: Do you have traditional farming equipment such as plough, yoke, seed pack and basket at home? If yes, the Agricultural University is ready to acquire them at a cost. They will be exhibited at the study centre established by the Center for Agricultural Research at Peelikode in Kasargod. Names of those who do not accept money will be displayed along with the equipment. Pricing will be based on the age of the equipment.
The study centre named after renowned poet and freedom fighter Subramanian Thirumumbu will be set up at a cost of Rs 2 crore. The university had taken over the poet's residence for this purpose three decades back. The study centre will be completed in three years.
