IDUKKI/PATHANAMTHITTA/KANNUR: Minor girls have been sexually abused in various parts of the state. A girl sexually abused in Idukki attempted suicide. The 17-year-old-girl who sustained 65% burns has been admitted in the hospital. Police said the accused is on the run.

In Kannur, minor girls were sexually abused by their relative. Their uncle raped the sisters, native of Kudiyanmala. The police have started a probe after imposing POCSO.

In Pathanamthitta, the police arrested a man for sexually abusing his minor daughter. The police arrested the 39-year-old youth, a native of Thripunithura. POCSO has been imposed on him also.
