KOCHI: Police have recorded the statement of Dr Najma, a junior resident of Kalamassery Medical College, Ernakulam, following the allegation that a COVID patient died due to negligence of the hospital staff. Police recorded her statement for nearly four hours.

"There is no change in what I said. I do stand firm on the allegations and have given a detailed statement to the police," Najma said. Dr Najma revealed that the reason for this controversy was the negligence from the part of some employees after the death of a COVID patient at Kalamassery Medical College.
